Educational Programs
Free, multi-week NAMI Education Programs include Family-to-Family for family caregivers and Peer-to-Peer for persons with mental
illness. NAMI also offers In Our Own Voice, a unique public
education program in which two trained speakers share compelling
personal stories about living with mental illness and achieving

Support Groups
NAMI support groups offer persons with mental illness or family
members a chance to discuss problems with others who are coping with similar issues.

Advocacy
NAMI advocates for persons with mental illness and their families in such areas as insurance benefits, treatment, housing and
employment. NAMI members and staff participate on boards and committees of agencies and other
